The Soviet emigre academic author explains and attempts to exonerate those discredited experts. Name dated 1981 written inside front, and some minor wear to dustwrapper. A nice copy.

William Kimber, 1984 large 8vo cloth pp205 bw plates index F-/VG Memoir of a young Pole who escaped to France and Britain as a teenager, and joined the Royal Air Force. Much on the wartime situation of Polish people, and lack of comprehension around them. Also observations of English society, especially Blackpool. Mostly flying Wellingtons over the Bay of Biscay. Using war economy paper under printing restrictions, this is a stop gap pamphlet. Even so, the text is detailed, and the illustrations well printed. General light wear, and two old tape marks on the back edges ofthe card binding, but VG overall. Scarce in this edition.
