Producers Supply Co., 1904 Bound in light khaki cloth with gilt titles, 110 pp. Dime size water spot on front cover, spine darkened. Contents overall very good.

Simon & Schuster, 1946 This is a Giant Golden Book, stated first edition, with 50 original stories by K and B Jackson and 100 color illustrations by Tenggren. Book is clean, bright and tight, jacket is missing most of the front flap, has a large closed tear in rear flap and chips at the spine extremities. It is in a mylar cover and does display well.

Simon & Schuster, 1950 First edition, code A150150, large popup of Santa in front. Thirty new stories, each page illustrated by Richard Scarry. There is a 1" tear at the top of spine with some of the clear plastic coating flaking, one corner bumped. Nice, bright, clean copy.

Alex Hogg, 1795 Early 20th century rebind in brown quarter morocco over cloth, c 1795. Frontis of volume 1 dated Dec 13th, 1794, no other date. Overall fine set on criminals of the 18th century current to the time of publication. Illustrated with copperplate engravings. Spines of three volumes show minor chipping, title page of volume 6 has the faintest bit of foxing, Touches of rubbing to other spines, top edge of one board bumped. All volumes largely unread. A superior set of this elusive epoch on crime of the eighteenth century.

New York : William Wood & Co., 1880 Bound in brown beveled boards with gilt spine titles, 452 pp. Wear ar spine extremities, otherwise an attractive copy.

Pasadena, California: Radiant Life Press, 1917 Bound in red cloth with gilt titles, 280 pp. Author espouses the healthiness of the Native American lifestyle. This, the newer, enlarged edition has added a chapter on the mentality of the Indian. He contrasts the style of life with the white man and contends theirs is better in so many ways; social interaction, bonds and care for one another. There is mild shelfwear and the gilt spine titles are flaking, otherwise a very good copy.

Limited Editions Club, 1971 Bound in crisp quarter leather over cloth boards, #648/1500 cc. Near fine book in fine slipcase.

Atlantis, Eyre and Spottiswood, 1947 This number 1 of the Atlantis series with glassine dustjacket over wraps. Pencil notations on the verso of title page, nicks to the jacket at spine extremities, else fine in jacket.

Baltimore, 1817 Bound in period calf with red leather spine label, leather rubbed with edgewear. One front endpaper and most of the frontis are missing. Internall there is a section of several pages with a dampstain where a few of the pages ahd stuck together resulting in the loss of two words on three pages, eight words on another. Otherwise a pleasant appearing copy.

London: Hurst & Blackett Bound in maroon half morocco over marbled boards, text block edges marbled, xii, 324. Extremities rubbed, light foxing to endsheets, otherwise a fine copy. Light pencil ownership on front endpapers dated 1874.

Public Library of Fort Wayne and Allen County, 1955 Dr John Jeffries was an American physician and scientist who was the first aeronaut to cross the English Channel. This 23 page pamphlet contains excerpts from his diary that first appeared in the Magazine of American History in January 1885.

Philadelphia: John E Potter, 1860 Bound in pale green cloth with gilt spine decorations, 384 plus 10 pp ads. Spine fade with gilt still legible, light fox spots first few leaves, a bright, clean tight copy with numerous engravings within the text.

London : Faber and Faber, 1953 Bound in burnt orange cloth with blue label and gilt titles, 160 pp of text, four color plates plus 120 black and white photographic plates. Signed by the author and dated Nov, 2, '54 on front endpaper. Jacket with nicks and a piece missing fron the front.

Lexington, Kentucky: Self published, 1950 Bound in black cloth with gilt titles, 92 pp. This is a collection of folk lore, Kentucky Tales the author heard as a young man, told repeatedly over a period of forty years while eventually over the same time frame writing them down. There are 31 stories in this collection. While self published and bound in paper covers, a library found enough merit in them to bind them in hard covers to preserve them. As such this ie ex-lib with the library markings. A scarce opportunity to read about an attempted escape by a slave and his panther encounter, courtship and marriage in rural Kentucky and other stories.

J. Otto V. Praze, 1910 Text in Czeck, these volumes apparently out of a set. F.L Vek vol I also numbered Sebrane Spisy II and F.L. Vek Vol II is Sebrane Spisy Vol XX. Vol I 263 pp, Vol II 412 pp plus index. Bound in leather over marbled paper boards, gilt spines. Edgewear, pages tanning, else clean bright and tight.

London: Privately Printed, 1892 #184/520, boundi navy blue cloth with paper spine labels. Minor chipping at spine extremities with a piece of clear tape reinforcing the head of vol. 1, water spot causing loss of gloss on front of vol. 1. Several articles from the 1950's tipped and laid in the back of volume 1, some soil inside of covers and on foreedges. Otherwise internally very good.

1958 Very Good/Very Good. Interesting biography of this Confederate General. Dust jacket has wrinkles on front flap, two chips on the toos the spine and is starting to brown on the back.

Willam Blackwood and Sons, 1855 All too rarely do you find a beautifully bound set of books in unread condition that are over 150 years old. This was that set. I purchased it at a country auction [too many auctioneers despise books]. While the set was pristine unread in beautifully bound calf, the auctioneer put the box it was in on the ground and some moisture got to it on the fore edge. This set is bound in full tan calf with double gilt borders, five raised bands, prancing lions on spine, two spine labels black and brown. Books display beautifully from the spine but unfortunately are damp stained on the fore edge so less attractive on the front and back. The text is affected from almost none to quite significantly. Errata slip tipped into volume 4. This set with the bookplate of Laurence A Waldron 14 Nov 1858- 27 Dec, 1923] Irish businessman and politician, M P representing the Irish Parliamentary Party, with Marino Killiney being his place of residence.

William Blackwood & Sons, 1857 This is a beautiful two volume set bound in full polished calf with gilt double borders. There are five raised bands with four dancing lions, brown and black leather spine labels. There is a scratch [not penetrating the leather] and the lower tips are darkened on volume 2. The endpapers have the slightest bit of foxing. Each volume with the book plate of Lawrence A Waldron in front, Marino Killiney in back. Waldron [12 Nov 1858-27 Dec 1923] was an M P representing the Irish Parliamentary Party and Marino Killiney was his home.

McGraw-Hill, 1971 Bound in black cloth with yellow titles, 366 pp., a volume from the American Trails Series. Stated first edition. Jacket spine is tanned and with wear to the tips. Otherwise a very good copy in like jacket.
