David McKay. Hardcover. Used - Very Good/Good. 1st American Edition, David McKay Co., hardcover with dust jacket. Dust jacket (good cond.) has some minor chipping/loss/tears along it's top edge as well as a fairly clean one-inch tear on its bottom-back edge. Cover image is well preserved. Dime-sized spot of discoloration on spine but text is readable. Book itself is a strong VG, with only a bit of edgewear to the boards and spine extremes. Pages and textblock are unmarked. Some mild wear to gilt top of textblock. A handsome copy. Will pack carefully.

Random House, 1930. Hardcover. Used - Good. NO DUST JACKET. 1930 hardcover illustrated by Rockwell Kent. Binding is still resonably strong and pages are unmarked. Top-right corner of front board has a bump andn 1/2 inch edge tear. Also, 1/2 inch tear where rear board meets top of spine. Some wear to other corners and edges. Cover image is well preserved; spine image less so. Page illustrations are bold and sharp.

'Good' grade is only for a an inconsequential 1.5 inch paper split at bottom of spine. Book is otherwie in VG condition. Binding is tight and pages/textblock are clean and unmarked. Corners are square and cover is without any creases. A solid copy. Will pack carefully.
