There are twenty seven 7 1/2 x 10 inch photographs laid down on linen. The whole in a five ring binder with the company's information impressed on the front cover (faded). Image tonality varies, some faded, some sharper. Five ring Binder. The first two images are collages of other photographs using Diathermy for everything from hemorrhoids to sinus infections to the treatment of Pneumonia. The next twenty three images are of company products, each with model number, name, order code, and often the price. We offer a group of twenty two different copies of the Boston Weekly Messenger ( a weekly newspaper ) from 1818. Each roughly 10 x 6 1/2 inches, string stitched, typically 16 pages, and folded as if for mailing. Several with the signature of Asahel Birge (?) in ink. Nothing obvious missing, although as normal with papers from this period the typography strength varies and there are in some cases difficulties reading at the fold lines. Perhaps we may be able to work together to break up this ridiculous threat upon the part of the Navy Department." The other 2 related to Miss Mabie gathering notes for "magazine use" and Hammond setting up a meeting between Mabie and Herbert Stone of Yachting magazine. In addition to these letters, there is an 8 page carbon typescript (8 1/2 x 11 inches) about Hammond by Mabie that is quite interesting, giving insights into Hammond as a person and inventor.
