instead of "sleep" on page 209. Missing dust jacket but not before
it stained the covers. A few stains in the margins. Former owners name in pencil on the first blank page. Small book seller's sticker at the bottom of the back inside board. Interior clean, tight and unmarked except for
a few stains in margins.

London: MacMillan, 1972 Mylar covered dust jacket in fine condition, book very good. An original
signed piece of paper with Pamela Hansford Johnson's signature on it
inside the front board.

Chicago: Sage Books, The Swallow Press Inc., 1969 This is a limited edition signed by the artist and hand bound is limited to five hundred copies of which this is number 28. Dark brown faux leather spine, tweed cloth covers, in a red slipcover.

Whitman Publishing Co., 1946 The Better Little Book, Pictoral Boards, bumped corners, 1/4" tear at the bottom edge to one side of the spine. Cover looks nice, some edgewear to front bottom edge. Inside pages appear to be clean. Nice black and white illustrations.

New York: Avon Kiddie Books, Inc., 1951 Boards look very good but there is a film on the front board that is starting to peel at the right hand edge. The book has two pop ups
in very good condition. Pages are clean no writing or marks in the book , no blemishes.<p>

There is a darkening far left hand top edge corner of the front board.

Bright blue boards, has slight discoloration very top edge, Dust jacket not price clipped, inch tear top edge front, sligh lean forward. Content: A novel that is presented through letters and, occfasionally, documents a venerable form, which can claim Richardson's PLamela as its ancestor. The letters are written by or to Lee Youngdahl, a professor of English at a college in San Francisco.

Racine, Wisconsin: Whitman Publishing Company, 1935 String binding, green cloth boards, fading on the edges and spine,
small stains on the inside pages in the spine, does not get into any of the black and white illustrations or text. Small stain on the back board.
6 1/4 " tall by 4 1/2" wide. Every page of text has an opposite black
and white illustration, the pups are dressed up like people and are
really cute.

The books and dust jackets are in near fine condition. The slipcase
has a ding on the back corner, Plastic that sealed these books is still with the books but is broken at the top and bottom.<p>

New York: Harcourt Brace And Company, 1944 Tan cloth boards are very good, the dust jacket is fair or better.<p>

Dust jacket has lots of scuffs and a one inch tear at the bottom edge.
The back of the dust jacket is complete but has a large corner bend.<p>

Black and white illustrations and inside pages clean and unmarked except for library marks, did notice 5 pencil number bottom of the decication page.
