With 100 illustrations--these are mostly early photos (most copyright 1900), showing what the finished baked goods should look like.
 
Black front cover of book has hard-to-see name/address of former owner written on it, probably in pencil.  Cover also has various white scuffs and medium general wear/rubbing, but is still relatively clean.  Ffep has short gift note in pencil.  Back endpapers have a bit of pencil writing and pencil doodles.  Some separation (a gap) starting between front endpaper and title page.  Otherwise clean and unmarked, binding good.  A truly rare cookbook in readily usable condition.  With great concise, plain language recipes.

Translated into English and French by Sakuzo Takada.  Very light cover wear.  Significant vertical crease to page 69/70.  Otherwise clean, unmarked, minimal wear, binding tight.  Complete with a laid in (loose) "Commentary from the Author" page by Nakimaro Hirose.  Very scarce.

Films are 17 minutes and 31 minutes respectively.  VHS tape in original clam-shell case, all in clean, VG shape.  Plays great or cash back.  Scarce.

An ex-library copy--Dewey decimal info in white on the spine.  Library pocket and inkstamp on inside front cover.  Library inkstamps on front endpaper and title page.  Cover has a bumped/dented lower right corner area and light fraying at corners and top/bottom of spine.  Page edges tanning, particularly top edges.  A few small tan stains to first few pages.  Otherwise generally clean, unmarked, with good binding.

A bit of pencil on back endpaper.  Otherwise clean, unmarked, low wear, binding tight.  A piece of the original dustjacket with the book synopsis is laid in.  Inventory #X2.

Vintage leaflet, 8 pages, no date. Back cover has various gray scuffing. Otherwise very good condition--clean, unmarked. Covers different cuts, grading, smart shopping, cooking tips, and more.

A small (4.75"x3.25") paperback booklet, advertising the Otis Incline Railway and Prospect Mountain House at Lake George (Rates $3.00 per day).  Also advertised is the hotel dining room, with refreshments served at all hours and music daily by Westphal's Orchestra of New York.  Booklet is clean, unmarked, low wear, with tight staple binding.  Includes black and white photos of Prospect Mountain House before it was destryoyed by fire:  the outside of the house, the dancing pavillion, and the surrounding areas including several railway shots.  Scarce.
