Endpapers lined with white glazed paper with a moiree pattern. Oblong folio (495 x 400 mm). Extremeties worn and rubbed, front cover discoloured, spine evenly sunned and spine-ends bumped. Rare large-format work with magnificent depictions of horses with KVK and OCKC showing only four copies (ÖNB, Madrid, NYPL, and Chicago) with 31 plates only (?). A number of the thin letterpress leaves with short tears else fine. The author was a master of the guard.
