Frere (written as 'E.Frere / Clydach' and 'H.B.E. Frere'), in two places at head of title page, with ink smear to bottom corner of page. Light dampstain to upper corner of frontispiece and maps, with some light, relatively minor dampstaining to the head of pages 57-80. Light circular stain to upper corner of much of the text block. Those who are familiar with the name Stan Farwig (1930-2003) would most definitely associate him with the genus Calochortus, which is a group of flowering plants that include mariposa lillies.
