Fair; all there, but half of spine cover is gone, major rip at front fold 9" (I'd tape over the spine with clear archival tape) pages very good, clean and white.

NY: Jack Mills, Inc, no date (1925).. Paperwraps folio 9x12", 32 pp. Ten songs, words and music, starting with "School days, school days, good old Golden Rule Days..." Most written aroudn 1900-1905, copyright reassigned to this publisher 1925. Scarce; no other copies available at this time. Very Good; solid, exterior rubbed; problem: a 3/8" tear at the top center of each page, with bits of archival mending tape newly applied.

NY: Sam Fox Publishing, 1965.. Paperback, 6x9 in., 104 pp. 96 songs, inc. some not often found in Community songbooks, eg. Semper Paratus, the US Coast Guard song; Rollin' my Ball, the voyageur's favorite; Grandma Grunts; Great Bells of Oseney; Ground-Gopher's Hole; Habanera, etc. . Good: would be very good but staples have pulled through cover. Feels solid in the hand. Owner's name and stamp on front cover (see our photo) else very clean and straight, page Fine.

G. Schirmer Inc., copyright 1942. Schirmer's price of 1.50 would indicate a post-war printing, perhaps 1955.. Paperwraps, 7x10.5", 95 pages . . Very Good: solid; owner's name at top of front cover (see photo here). Pages very clean.

NY: Sam Weiss Music Inc., 1950.. Sheet Music, folio 9x12"; music printed inside folio covers. Photo of Bing Crosby on cover. Note: our photo does not include the right-hand 1/4" of the front, but it is clean and there, similar to rest. Very Good, unmarked, light rub at corners.

Boston: Oliver Ditson & Co. 1891.. Hard Cover, brown cloth spine with paper-covered boards, Oblong 7.7" X 9.8", 192 pp. Stuffed with songs which were mainly recently composed, many by Emerson, for singing exercises; "Peter Piper pick'd a peck" is interesting, 4 verses; a few revisions such as "Oft in the Stilly Night". . Poor as cloth is split down rear hinge and covers detached; yet both covers and contents are clean, on good paper, and straight or nearly so (cover bent down at fore-edge where it overhangs the text block); text block very good.

Hard Cover, 286 pp. Brief essays on Bach, Handel, Gluck, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Weber, Schubert, Berloiz, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Schumann, Liszt, Wagner, Verdi, Franck, Brahms, Tschaikowsky, Grieg and Debussy. . Good: solid and clean ex-library, some marks, bottom corners worn, apparently never checked out.
