New London County Historical Society. Very Good. Very good + copy of this classic look at whaling in New London. I love the topic of whaling and actually have a history of it in my family. A classic industry. Only signed copy on the market. Inscribed to previous owner on first front end page. One slight tear in DJ, top right front cover. Slight, slight humidity ripple to pages. Hinges cracked and significant wear 2 edges and corners of spine and covers.  Binding is still in good minus condition with everything attached but some slight looseness overall. Book is complete and in good to very good cosmetic condition.  Cover paste on illustration is mildly worn and the pages themcells have occasional issue minor foxing to the edges which does not impact text. New York: G. P. Putnam’s Sons, 1904. First Edition . Hardcover. Good. Porcelain: The Connoisseurs Library by Edward Dillon 1904 (49 Illustrations). Illustrated with full page plates in color and black-and-white. Some minor cosmetic imperfections along the edges of the spine, but overall condition is very good with only minor Ware 2 corners. New York: John Buel, 1793. Leather. Good. 192 pages plus folding table. Frontispiece pasted to front cover in fair to good shape, minor foxing and browning throughout. Complete. Bottom 1/6 of front leather hinge is coming apart. Covers otherwise still well attached. Folding table isn't perfect, check photos. Fairly rare edition with only 10 copies located according to the ESTC. Name Thomas Barr__ss? On inside back cover. Significant where to the corners of the leather. Some chipping to title page but all text is still intact. Overall a good complete copy of this popular 18th century mathematical primer.

New Haven: privately printed, 1941. First Edition . Hardcover. Good. Scarce private printing of one of the best works on Hale ever produced. Comprising: "All available official and private documents bearing on the life of the Patriot, together with an appendix showing the background of his life including his family circle, his college friends, his friends made as schoolmaster and in the army, with many illustrations, portraits and buildings that knew his footsteps." No one quite touches the american spirit as Hale does. Others may exist more commonly in our minds, but nothing equals the strength of his immortal final words. At least to me. Near Fine condition. Mild foxing to front end pages. Solid hinges and binding. Little wear except some scratching to back cover. Partially unopened pages (if I had to guess, 20-35%). A true collector's copy. hartford: hudson and goodwin, 1800. Hardcover. Good. A hard to find early Edition of this Classic textbook on Geography. Most copies available are fifth edition or later so this fourth edition copy is still a great addition to a collection, Especially if you are a collector of Connecticut publishers. Condition is fair plus overall with solid contents and just some minor Browning to the pages with very little foxing. Binding is fully intact but there is a little bit of bookworm damage to the top of the back spine. Covers are still attached. Some fading to the text in certain sections.
