No inscriptions. A really lovely copy & seldom found in this condition. A series of short stories accounting the author's day to day activities in London with a fantastical bent set around Kensington Gardens including the very first appearance of Peter Pan.

The wraparound band is in very good condition with some light creasing only. Extremely uncommon in this condition with original wraparound band as was issued on the first edition at the time of publication. A dying Sir Edward Leithen undertakes a heroic journey from London to Canadian Northwest to track down a missing man who is literally "sick at heart". In his journey Leithen finds his own redemption.
