Originally published in France in 1981, this is the first UK edition, translated from the French by Guido Waldman. Offered here are two copies of the book, the first copy is fine in fine dw, and is INSCRIBED by Greene on the front end paper. The second copy has a bit of weakening to the rear hinge but is about fine in all other regards, in a similar dw, and is warmly INSCRIBED in French by Allain on the title page. For sale as a set.
