The learned persons particularly the researchers often need such "Ephemeris" that can compare the "Hijri" - the Islamic and "Isvi" - the Christian years (dates). There are many such "Ephemeris" in Europe particularly in English language. You can find a one in Arabic as well but there wasn't any such "Ephemeris" in Urdu by which Hijri, Isvi years, dates, and days can be compared without any problem. Keeping this need in mind the Anjuman Taraqi-e-Urdu has compiled this "Ephemeris".
