Wraps are chipped and lightly soiled; several dogearred pages; With compliments inscription on title page; all engravings in very good condition. This edition was likely issued before the hardcover edition of 1910 and it does not contain any photos. Other editions appear to contain only 7 woodcuts while this one has 16. A good and complete working copy, of an early Guide to Boston with interesting ads. The cover is titled "Guide to Boston and Suburbs; spine titled "Boston Sights and Stranger Guide"; tanjd the title page "Boston Sights and Hand-Book For Vistors".
