Corbett, Felicity Young, Spencer Teakle, Victor Brooks, Bernadette Milnes, dir: Terry Bishop, Eros Films/FanFare Films. Folded, fine.American poster (dated 1960) for this UK-made exploitation crime thriller. The poster's by-line really says all that needs to be said about the film. It is the story of bikini wearing pin-ups who end up dead in the exact same poses that they are featured in on the cover of Wow! magazine. A madman IS on the loose! A cult film of this genre.

Description:
Eve Productions. Softcover/Paperback. Near Fine. [Hollywood]: Eve Productions, [1965]. Vintage original 17 x 11" (43 x 28 cm.) campaign book, pictorial wrappers, 8 pp., light creasing, near fine. Director Russ Meyer's cult classic about three go-go dancers who embark on a wild spree of kidnapping and murder in the California desert. The film was not really appreciated at the time of its 1965 release, but it has come to be recognized as a forward-looking vision of a female-centric world, in which all the tropes of 60s' exploitation, including violence against women, are turned upside down. This is a very scarce book.

Very scarce photos from the only feature film of experimental film director Steven Arnold. He curated the Nocturnal Dreamshows at the Palace Theater in San Francisco, where The Cockettes got their start. ""In 1969, Arnold began filming Luminous Procuress, which went on to win him the 1972 New Director's Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival, an extended exhibition at the Whitney Museum of American Art, and a second invite to Cannes' Directors' Fortnight. Salvador Dali was so impressed with the film that he arranged a private screening at the St. Regis Hotel, to which he invited New York's elite, including Andy Warhol, who also praised the film's…

Description:
P. A. DeCenzie. Softcover/Paperback. Near Fine. Oakland: P.A. DeCenzie, 1952. Vintage original 11 x 8 1/2" (28 x 22 cm.) film program, pictorial wrappers, 36 pp. Minor creasing, near fine. At the very beginning of his career in film, Russ Meyer served both as cameraman and director for this 40 minute short documenting a burlesque show headlining Tempest Storm at the El Rey Theatre in Oakland (IMDb lists a previous 1947 short called Afro Mood Burlesque, but states that Meyer's work on that is unconfirmed). Although IMDb gives a 1948 date for this film, this program is clearly dated 1952, which we suspect is the accurate date. And what an elaborate book was produced for this obscure short subject, prefuse with photos of the various burlesque stars, with even a page devoted to Meyer. And this is definitely a rarity.…
