The edges of the cover boards show wear and the top of the spine is frayed. The interior hinges are cracked but the binding is secure. White imitation leather boards with gilt, red and green illustration to front board and spine with gilt title and publisher name on spine. Binding tight and pages almost as new. Illustrated end papers, front and back and 12 lovely color illustrations by Edmund Dulac. Biographical preface and introduction to Omar Khayyam written by Fitzgerald. Cover mildly toned and chipped top, bottom and ends of spine, clipped on top front inside. 191 pages.
