Dalziel's Illustrated Arabian Nights Entertainments, first published in 1865, was the most spectacular illustrated edition to be published in the Victorian Age. Red cloth boards with bevelled edges, embossed lettering and illustrations in gilt & black is worn in some spots and edges. Bookworm damage on cracked front hinge but the binding is still secure. Text block is age toned and appears unmarked. Coloured frontispiece with tissue. 150 illustrations by Thomas Dalziel are both in colour and black & white. 796 pp Heavy book.
