Complete set of 6 volumes. Memorial edition. Bound in leather with gilt titles on spine, and red decorative paper front & back. Heavy; may require extra postage. Some shelf-wear on cover edges which are not leather bound. All volumes have broken front hinge in various conditions. The worst condition is Volume I (Military History of Canada), which has 2 loose pages (but all pages included). Volumes include illustrations, fold-out maps, and frontispiece with tissue guard.

The author was an Anglican priest, a Canadian poet, and a chaplain in WWI. This is among the best-known of the early Canadian accounts of World War I. Dust jacket is torn but all major pieces are included; front DJ has some text missing. Dark red cloth has minor bumping at bottom.Text is clean but pages are yellowed; binding is tight.
