Book is in very good condition with little edge wear except for a mild crease at the tip of the upper front corner and creases on the spine. The inside covers and pages are tanned.

Book is in good condition, but shows some age. Cover edges and hinges show wear and rubbing and bumping. Top of page block and edges have some spotting, there is tanning of all edges. Dust jacket has wear, edges bumped and rubbed and there is a small tear at the top of the spine. Soiling, mostly from dust, at the edges. A price tag on front jacket. Unclipped flap.

UK: Spring Books, 1967. Revised. Hardcover. Good/good. Red cloth on boards, 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. 244 p. More than 200 line drawings and black & white photographs of cupboards, beds, chairs, table, long-case clocks, wash-stands, fires screens. A series of diagrams shows in detail the construction of various pieces of furniture. This is a revised edition of the 1923 original. Book is in good condition. There is some slight discoloration between the front inside cover and end page and the end page and 1/2 title page. Something left between the pages left its ghost. There is also light foxing between the back cover and end page but very mild. Some tanning to the page edges and to the end pages. The dust jacket is good, not clipped, with mild edge wear and surface rubbing and light scratches (impressions left by someone using the book to work on.)

Book is very good, tanning to page edges and a crease on the front end page. The dust jack, unclipped, is good, showing edge wear and rubbing over-all with a small scratch on the back. The inside of the jacket shows spotting.
