1940s Sci-Fi from Erroll Collins, a pseudonym for British writer Ellen Redknap. A rare copy especially in this condition. Pages are bright and clean with no markings and scarcely any age wear visible. Remarkably good. DJ is unclipped with original price as well as a wonderful rear flap advertising for the BBC wartime service the Global Overseas Service. Some minor shelf wear and rubbing and a little clipping especially top and bottom of spine. Boards are clean and tight. A wonderful copy. See all photos.

The follow-up to Kit Williams' legendary 'Masquerade' treasure hunt book. The puzzle here was to solve the clues and correctly name the book itself. The book tells the story of a day in the life of a beekeeper named Ambrose, and how he and his bees are affected by personifications of the four seasons. This is a first edition and uncommonly SIGNED by Williams with his unmistakable flourish. Beautiful illustrations.

First edition of Cornish miner and poet John Harris's 1866 book 'Shakspere's Shrine'. Book is very good. Pages are intact and completely tightly in place. Hardly any most minor age wear at all on pages. Feb has a date written neatly, and a date stamp (see photos), and title page has a small segment missing at top. Binding its tight. Covers are clean with just normal age wear and a tiny amount of wear at junction of spine and front cover (no impact on book integrity). REP has minute sticker of presumably the original binder.
