Because of the amount of material involved Tor opted to split the last book into a trilogy with this volume being the first of three. This copy includes a map of the area the Wheel of Time is taking place and which is featured as pictorial end-papers. With facsimile signature on the title page (Not physically signed). Book is in excellent condition, the dust jacket is near fine.

Classic Charles Dickens, The novel's full title is The Personal History, Adventures, Experience and Observation of David Copperfield the Younger of Blunderstone Rookery (Which He Never Meant to Publish on Any Account). It was first published as a serial in 1849–50, and as a book in 1850. It is written in the first person, as a description of his life until middle age, with his own adventures and the numerous friends and enemies he meets along his way. It is his journey from being an impoverished, neglected child to a successful author. This printing was released 34 years after the original, and is in fair, readable condition. The cover has stains and shelf wear and the pages are quite yellowed, or browned from age, and a previous owner has written in the first couple of blank pages. The entire book however is still intact.

This book was originally purchased from a Border's, and has the accompanying stickers on the front and back of the dust jacket, as seen in the pictures. The book is in excellent reading condition, with near perfect cover boards and spine.

Williams said he started writing this book as a picture of life in Bangor, Maine in the years leading up to and during the Civil War but ended up writing a novel about a very conniving and twisted woman. It is written from the perspective of the men in her life. Very entertaining. This copy is in good condition with normal shelf wear, a few age spots on the pages, but no writing or marks.
