Robert M0rden (c. 1650-1753) Prolific mapmaker.

Drawn by Janvier c.1771 for Jean Lattre's 1776 issue of Atlas Moderne. NO FOXING,NO SOILING, Margins age-toned and chipped. Usual vertical central fold reinforced.

Map of the Arkansas Surveying district shewing the extent of Public Surveys on the 30th September 1851. It includes limits of the rail road reservation & boundaries of swamps and overflowed lands. 18" X 17" One horizontal fold; 3 vertical folds; light age-toning, primarily along folds; split in margins; border on left side trimmed. Overall very good. OCLC lists 1 copy with this date. Photos on request.

London: London Gazette, 1776. Soft cover. Very Good. 12 3/8" x 7 5/8. This is an original, hand-colored, engraved map first published in the London Gazette. 7 5/8" x 12 3/8". Depicts battles from Amboy, N.J. in the south to Stamford, CT. in the north, including New York City, White Plains, Long Island & Staten Island. Details include position of the two armies Oct. 25; retreat of the rebels and battle losses by General George Washington. London Gazette from the Gentleman's Magazine v.46, suppt. 1776. NY: Phelps and Watson, 1864. Soft cover. Good. MAP: 36" X 25" folded in orange & black stiff paper covers, 6 3/8" x 4 3/8", black cloth spine. Inside front cover a 35 -page booklet: 'Brief Descriptions of Battles and Skirmishes of the War'. The map has locations of battles with red dots or underlining of place names; population statistics for each state & an inset of southern Florida and a list of the battles. The last entry is Nov. 28, 1863. Covers worn, booklet sewing loose. Map has 2 horizontal separations, small corner-folds & vertical slits all without any loss.
