The Gehenna Press: Northampton, MA 1963. Limited edition to 300 numbered copies, this is #22. Not to be confused with the subsequent unnumbered trade edition. Colophon illustrated by Press Founder Leonard Baskin. A presentation copy from Baskin, signed and inscribed "for Louis". Though not certain, it seems likely that the recipient is Baskin's close friend Louis Smith. Smith (known as Smitty) ran a framing, glazing and art supply store in Northampton, and between 1955 and 1974, Baskin engraved a series of rooster illustrations for Smith's shop. In 1999, this series was printed under the title "Smitty's Cocks" in a limited signed edition, noting "The friendship between the Smiths and Baskin was legendary and fruitful. Limited edition 350 numbered copies, of which 188 only (numbered 1 to 188) are for sale in the British Empire and 150 only (numbered i to cl) are for sale in the United States of America. This is # 167. Folio. xvi, 17-39pp Transcript, 20 plates by Inigo Jones and [40pp] facsimiles of the original manuscript. Boards bowed and soiled. Trace of removed bookplate. Pages uncut. About very good.

London: The Casanova Society, 1926. Limited Edition 1236/1500 copies on deckle-edge laid watermark paper, translated and with a long postscript by Ezra Pound. GALLUP A22b.A very good copy, top corners bumped, edge worn spine a little faded in a very good dust wrapper showing only a little evidence of the soling that seems to be endemic to this title, spine a little tanned and mottled with some small edge chips.

London: The Nonesuch Press, 1927. Limited Edition 1323/1500 printed on Kelmscott handmade paper. Vellum back and tips, marbled boards, top edges gilt. Vellum a bit soiled and browned otherwise about fine lacking slipcase.

London: The Nonesuch Press, 1934. Centenary Edition. This copy is dated 1934 on title page with no mention of printing on the obverse and is accompanied by a plain, undecorated dust wrapper priced at 8 shillings and 6 pence; other copies we've seen for sale as first editions have no date on title page but have a first printing reference on the obverse with a decorated dust wrapper priced at 15 shillings. Priority unknown, but the lower price on this copy suggests that this is a true first edition. Decorated endpapers, buckram binding. Front and rear covers with a two-inch band of toning, othewise nearly fine in like about fine dust wrapper with tiny tear and very slight chip to bottom of spine.

London: The Nonesuch Press, 1926. Limited edition, #98 of 1250 copies on japon vellum signed by the author. Pages uncut and untrimmed. Top and bottom spine darkened, otherwise an about fine copy. Parchment dust wrapper, trimmed short of board edges as issued, is toned and a bit wrinkled with one chip.
