Frt. hinge is exposed. Ink mark to ffep. Sgn. to top of 1st advertising page. The main body of text is securely bound and is bright & clean. Appears to be complete. The outer boards are rigid card with a black tape backstrip. Some wear & discoloration - but remains tidy & perfectly functional for genealogical & social history purposes. A once in a lifetime find. The main body of text is securely bound, although there is browning to external edges which intrudes to the margins and has caused slt. chipping in places. Some typical burred cnrs. also. Appears to be complete. The outer wrappers are card, and only the frt. remains. The rear cover is absent - along with the backstrip. As a directory collector myself, I know that a skilled bookbinder can renovate this title and make the book look beautiful once more.
