Description:
Louisville, Ky.: Country Press, 1941. Original wrappers; very good. With four typescripts by Heil writing as George Hartford and Hal Westbrooke, three of which are different accounts of this crime. Also included is the Cleveland-based author’s retained copy of his cover letter, revealing some of his reporting practices. The typescript pages are yellowed and brittle, but in very good condition.
