McGuinness : A Pictorial Review 1905-1988 [Mimico, Etobicoke, Toronto]

Toronto: McGuinness Distillers, 1988. Oversized hardcover without dust jacket, in the standard McGuinness royal blue covers with gilt lettering to front cover and spine, 128 pages including many archival and contemporary black-and-white photographs and other illustrations;---laid in are a letter from the VP Manufacturing concerning this souvenir tribute book, and a full colour aerial photograph (reproduced in the book) of the distillery and surrounding area of Mimico (including Algoma Street, Manitobe Street and Grand Avenue adjacent to the QEW, c1985/88);---very gently used, not a trace of shelf or reading wear, very clean and unmarked throughout. Historical note: there is now a City of Toronto Historical Plaque at the corner of Manitoba Street and Legion Road in Mimico to honour the distillery which has since been converted into a condominium complex.
