An excellent copy. {The Oates-Selborne copy, with the bookplate of Robert Washington Oates; the library was later gifted to the Gilbert White Museum in 1955.}. [Rev. James Grahame {1765 - 1811), was a Scottish poet whose poems are full of quiet observation of country sights expressed in graceful verse. Shane Leslie was Sir John Randolph Leslie, 3rd Baronet, an Anglo-Irish diplomat and writer. He was a first cousin of Sir Winston Churchill.]. New Edition. Cloth. Good.

[A verse account of a long holiday to Australia, New Zealand, India, Ceylon and Israel. Small slim quarto, pp 79, illustrated throughout in colour by Rosalind Thornycroft, a few slight blemishes to a few pages but overall in much cleaner than average condition, pictorial boards slightly age-toned and very slightly worn, the spine head is slightly worn and the rear joint is cracking slightly (see illustration) but otherwis quite good, the dustwrapper is not price-clipped and is only slightly worn and frayed and now enclosed in a removable clear cover..
