First edition 1899 rare hardcover textbook with very good binding. Some underlines but totally readable and all pages intact without tears. Some tanning of cloth covered boards and wear to outside spine and top edge. 180 pages. The text pages are remarkably white for age. I can provide provenance if buyer is interested. Great gift anytime of the year, but especially at Easter. The bottom of front hardcover has price tag remnant. There is an inscription to original owner front inside board. No other writing, marks, bends, or tears.

Published by Cupples & Leon Co. No date. Original owner was a relative who died in 1920. Exterior boards have some wear as shown in scans. Beautiful color illustrations with poetry. Penciled name on first inside page is the only writing.
