(350*261 mm). (Abbey Life 287. Colas 937). Rollicking and rare social spoof by Egerton, only the second copy we have ever see - the first in boards. There is a variant issue with the imprint of Thomas McLean on the title page. Both the Abbey and Colas collations (copies on boards) agree with the above: engraved title plus twelve plates. Curiously, these plates were later issued in an ever rare compilation entitled The Melange of Humour (nd) along with plates by Henry Alken and others.
