Description:
1890. Book. Very Good. Hardcover. First Edition. 40mm x 85mm. No date but the nature of the postcard format suggests Victorian around 1890. 50 sea-weed specimens numbered 5 to 54, each individually carefully pressed and mounted, untitled, but numbered onto uniform display cards (40mm x 85mm). The specimens are generally in a good state of preservation with just a few with light loss. The paper mounts have a single wave, bend to them and lightly toned with very few marks. A very good collection..
