In a clipped wrapper in near fine condition. The first words out of Father Christmas's mouth as the alarm clock signals Dec 24th is 'Blooming Christmas Here Again'!

London: Longmans, 1900. First edition, first printing. Published by Longmans in London, 1900. This is a very good copy. Issued without a dust wrapper. The beautiful gilt illustrations are present and not blemished, though so slightly toned at the spine. The spine tips and slightly bumped. There is an area of non-sticky residue to the rear panel. There is also what appears to be black pen to the front panel. The gilt text blocks are bright throughout, unblemished and complete. The internals are slightly foxed to the prelims, with what appears to be red toning to the tissue guard. The front fly is slightly worn and appears to carry a previous owners inscription, which is now barely legible. Overall, this is a very good copy of an iconic title. The sixth instalment in Lang's fairy tales.

Viking, 1985. Hardcover. Fine. A first edition, first printing published by Viking in 1985. A fine book SIGNED by both the Author, Richard Adams and the illustrator, John Lawrence. In a fine unclipped wrapper.Both Adams and Lawrence collaborated on the first illustrated edition of Watership Down in 1976.

Brockhampton, 1964. A first edition, first printing published by Brockhampton in 1964. A very good+ book without inscriptions, in a very good+ unclipped wrapper with some wear to the spine tips and small nick to the bottom of the front panel. The books were later adapted for the films Nanny McPhee (2005) and Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010), starring Emma Thompson and Colin Firth.

They are generally without chips and marks but there is a little pushing to the top and tail of the spine. The internals are bright, clean and free from spotting. There are no traces of previous owners inscriptions and overall, this copy is in near fine condition. The runner-up for the Kate Greenaway Medal from the Library Association, recognising the year's best children's book illustration by a British writer. In the United States, it was named to the Lewis Carroll Shelf Award list in 1979.
