One of Parker's earlier novels featuring Boston private detective Spenser, this time hired to search for a young woman who may have been kidnapped by a fanatic religious sect. Front cover shows small area with grey-white damp stain (not visible beneath dustjacket), o/w boards and text are clean and unmarked, tight and square, not remaindered. The dustjacket has slight bit of wear at edges, corners and spine ends, small corner crease on front flap, no major tears, creases or chipping, not price-clipped. A collectable copy.
