Pocket-sized folding cased map, on linen, 9 sections unfolded, printing in the same year of the battle - it was advertised in the Morning Post of April 8th, 1849. Very good condition. The case is about 3 3/4 inches wide and 5 inches high. The map unfolds to about 10 1/2 inches wide and almost 14 inches high.

Map of Canada. Route of the Imperial Press Conference Tour of Canada 1920. Cased map, linen backing, 27 sections ( 3 rows of 9). 36 inches by 22 inches, including margin. Very good condition. Various natural resources printed in red on map, for example timber, pulpwood, fish, minerals. This must be a fairly late example of a cased linen-backed map?

A section cut from the folding sheet "The Smaller Islands of the British Ocean" by Robert Mordern. Someone (perhaps the person who divided the sheet) has pencilled on the bottom margin "Morden c1695". I can only guess that this was someone who wish to sell the map of each island individually. Of course if this remaining portion was divided then each map would be missing two or three margins. Maps have not been colored. Dimensions of each map (without margin, when present) are, approximately:Jersey: 6 & 5/16 by 3 & 7/8 in.Alderney: 5 1/2 by 3 in.Garnsey: 5 1/2 by 3 & 7/8 in.The join of the original sheets runs though the middle of Jersey - it i most visible in the photo of the blank back of the page.
