Some reordering of plates etc, but all present as required. Very occasional corrections to text in ink. Stock toned and plates spotted, but in general all is in VG internal order. One page neatly repaired to leading edge. Frontispiece map to vol.1 also has neat repair to small part of one fold. Half leather with marbled paper-covered boards, all worn to edges. 8vo. vi, 1288pp, 470pp, + appendix, indices, errata, binder's directions and list of subscribers.

Last few pages a little darkened. Full contemporary leather, heavily worn with front board detached. 12mo. 574pp + indexes + 4ppp publisher's list.

Stock lightly toned, but pages generally clean and bright. Title page a little creased. Endpapers split, but boards holding well. Half leather, worn to all edges, with marbled paper covered boards, this also worn, with fading to front. 8vo. 836pp

London: Charles Tilt, 1836. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. Handsomely rebound prior to 1912 in half leather on marbled paper. Title page and any other prelims discarded during this process and thus volume begins with the Epistle Dedicatory. Thereafter all continues in good order, with decorative engraved borders to all pages and numerous plates. Stock toned and occasional spotting, but a nice copy. Iscae Dunmoniorum [Exeter]: John March, 1719. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. The study of Roman Hampshire, Wiltshire and Somerset which earned Musgrave a diamond ring from George I in appreciation. In good internal order, with some toning, spotting and corner creases, but generally bright. Fold-out engraved map, and 14 further fold-out engravings, some particularly striking, most bright, strong images. Discreet repair to final plate. Boards are present but detached along with first two blanks. Spine in situ. Bookplate of Glasgow Archaeological Society to front pastedown. A good candidate for sympathetic rebinding. 12mo. xxvi, 223pp + indexes

Complete from title page through to Finis. No binding. Title page a little grubby, otherwise pages are generally in good tanned order. Includes cast list for Theatre Royal performances. 8vo. 80pp.

London: C And J Rivington, 1826. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Poor/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Much of the text is in VG, crisp, clean and bright order. However, title page and final three leaves have been fixed in place with clear tape. block itself is loose from boards, themselves distressed and held together with black tape. Thus much to like and much not to, and a prime candidate for sympathetic rebinding. At the moment, while exceptionally scarce, a reading/working copy only. 8vo. 560pp

Early edition of this much reprinted collection, in exceptionally good internal order with clean crisp and bright pages from front to back, bar a little marking and former owner's details to title page. Externally, full leather binding is shaken and heavily worn with loss to spine at head and foot. 32mo. 353pp + index and publisher's ads.

The complete work, running to 537 pages, including the observations on hospitals, the guillotine supplication, organisation of medical schools, etc. French language. Nouvelle edition. All in VG internal order. Barely visible stamp to title page, former owner's signature to reverse. In the attractive quarter calf binding of the Birmingham Medical School with marbled paper-covered boards. Leather marked to spine and a little worn to edges. Neat repair to rear of half title, a little marking to early pages. Rebound (date unknown) to include original ff endpaper with Birmingham Medical Institute presentation label. Block edged in red to all sides. 8vo. 537pp.
