New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1917. SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY AUTHOR on the front endpage - "To Billy Hays Jr - because the author likes the way his father talks about him this book is inscribed by William Johnston". From the collection of Will H. This book the basis for the 1932 film "When a Fellow Needs a Friend" starring Jackie Cooper. A SCARCE book in any edition, RARE SIGNED AND INSCRIBED BY… Read More
