The boards are flat and quite firm, faded around the edges and on spine. Very lightly foxed free end papers. Slightly marked cut edges. The text block is very good; tight, straight and clean pages, illustrated with b/w and colour photos and b/w drawings. No dedications etc. Without jacket.
