A host of stars appeared Laurence Harvey, Alec Guiness,David Niven, Cliff Richard, Frankie Howard and many more. 98 pages in overall clean condition just some old selotape marks to top of first and last two pages, this is where some newspaper cuttings were attached, these are now laid in loosley. Photographs of the stars inside and many old adverts plus details of past shows. There is a ticket for the Royal Circle inserted this has some old selotape mark across top and a little creased. Uxbridge UK: Hillingdon Press, 1970. Programme for this event at the Royal Festival Hall 16th November 1970 given in aid of United World Colleges. Stars who appeared are Bob Hope and Frank Sinatra, also in attendance, Princess Grace of Monaco who took the place of Noel Coward who was ill. Thye programme has 180 pages with photographs by David Bailey of Cat Stevens, several other photographs and details of the stars. Programme is bright and clean with just light yellowing to edges of pages and front laminated card cover, outer covers have light wear on edges. Loosley laid inside is a folded card with a picture of Princess Grace and inside a printed message from Earl Mountbatten stating Noel Coward is ill and cannot attend the performance, also some loose newspaper cuttings of the performance. Contains 48 full pages of text concerning the actor followed by the illustration of the players, all illustrations,all present as listed and in very bright clean condition, some light foxing to some text pages and endpapers Binding is sound but has a little play init, looks as if the rear inner hinge has been neatly repaired at sometime in the past. . NO dustwrapper, outer illustrated boards are a little darkened to edges and the spine, some wear to corners and top and bottom of spine, bump to top front corner. On front endpaper is a handdrawn caricature by George Robey, one of the Music Hall stars and inscribed by him Good luck George Robey, underneath in A H Atkins hand is Presented to me by George at the Metropolitan.
