Includes sections on why the twenty-first century will be the age of psychotherapy, the I-Thou relationships theorized by Martin Buber, and religion's relationship to counseling. Author was a psychotherapist based in Menlo Park, and was an attendee at the First National Conference on Asian-American Mental Health in San Francisco in 1972.

Twenty-three invitations + and two memorial invitations, 5.5x8 inches; folded for mailing, address label present, some edge and handling wear, else very good. Each invitation includes a poetry reading and open mic location and a poem by the author.

Cloth spine bears a faint reader's crease, sound clean and unmarked, a nice copy. An incidental gem of information, the San Francisco Bay Area is "home to the largest cajun-zydeco music scene outside of the Gulf Coast

Oakland: Alameda County Labor-Community Coalition, 1979. Staplebound. [8]p., newsletter on four pink standard leaves, corner-stapled, a fascicle designed to be folded in half for mailing (it wasn't). Staple badly rusted with migration, cigarette-burn to fore-edge (sandpapered a little to discourage offset ash). As is, a fair to good copy that is perfectly handleable and legible. Amongst the projects proposed to readers of this issue, the central one was to fight Proposition 4, "the Gann Initiative

Emeryville, CA: Marxist-Leninist Party, SF Bay Area Branch, 1986. 8.5x14 inch handbill, fold-creased, otherwise very good. Issued in support of the strike by SEIU Local 250, Lab Techs, and Optical Workers of SEIU Local 505.

Sarasota: First Edition Design Publishing, 2016. Paperback. 140p., wraps, 5.5x8.5 inches, very good. Memoir recounting author's experiences growing up as the son of Japanese immigrants and being incarcerated at Rohwer. Omi is a longtime resident of Mill Valley, and a retired landscape architect. During World War II, he was incarcerated along with his family at Rohwer in Arkansas. He later served in Korea, and then returned to UC Berkeley to obtain a degree in landscape architecture.

Cupertino CA: Foothill-De Anza Community College District, 1982. Paperback. 46p., a large softbound booklet, 11x8.5 inches, printed on super-glossy coated paperstock, illustrations from b&w exhibit photography, cuts usually quarter- and half-page size fitted into the double-column text. Covers have some soil and faint discolorations, and front wrap bears a large (2x3.3 inches) adhesive label with the handwritten message "Last Copy Please Do not remove!", else generally sound, clean within and unmarked.
