The lettering on the ribbon is slightly faded. Light creasing to the ribbon. ; A ribbon from the opening festivities of the Rhode Island Rifle Associations What Cheer Range in Greenwood, RI. The What Cheer Range was located 7 miles from Providence on the line of the Stonington Railroad. Greenwood is located in Warwick, Kent County. Just south of Rt 113 and east of Rt 1. Philadelphia: Peterson's Magazine. Good+. 1874. Single sheet. ITEM: Cushion in Berlin Wool Work Griffin on Pattern, SIZE: 10 by 11 inches, CONDITION: Removed from a Peterson's magazine. The center crease has been repaired on reverse with archival document tape. A thin acid free paper tape. The edges are chipped. The chipping to the edges does not affect the pattern in any way; An original vintage color pattern for a chair cushion. This 1874 pattern has a Griffin in the center with decorative borders. A great piece of vintage sewing memorabila; Color Illustrated .

Barnstable, Mass: Barnstable County Agriculture Society. Fair. 1890. Ribbons. Size: Blue ribbon 3 by 2 inches. Gold ribbon 7 1/2 by 2 inches Condition: Blue ribbon is in poor condition. Lacking the top edge and pin and the lower half of the ribbon. The gold ribbon is completely intact with pin. It has light creasing and soiling. ; These 2 original ribbons are from 1905 and 1890. The first ribbon, blue, is lacking the lower halk and the top edge. It reads " 1905 B. C. A. S. 61st Annual Poultry Show Barnstable, Mass. " The second ribbon, goldish green color, is intact with pin and reads "B. C. A. S. 1890 Fruit. " The Barnstable County Agricultural Society was founded in 1843 and incorporated in 1844. The first exhibition and fair was held at the Court House in Barnstable in 1844. In 1845 ans agricultural hall was built and the fair was hosted there until it closed 1932.
