Letters written by and to the sharp-tongued New Zealand businessman and politician (b. 1939) in 1970-1982, two years before his libertarian New Zealand Party played a spoiler role in national elections, helping bring NZ Labour and its neoliberal deregulation policies to power. 8vo, black cloth with gilt lettering on spine, aqua end papers, incipient foxing to edges, scant shelf wear, in DJ with edge-wear especially at crown and heel, small tear in the back panel and nick to the front where a bit of white shows. Name of a former owner and bookstore price written on ffep, pages bright and unmarked.
