Essays assembled as a posthumous collection, by Bernhard Blume and Roy Harvey Pearce. 8vo, black cloth with blind letter B on front board, silver gilt lettering on spine, no visible exterior wear save light dust soil to top edge, extremely faint foxing to fore-edge, boards ever so slightly bowed; in DJ with diagonal chip to front flap as if price-clipped, except the (UK) price is present at the bottom of flap. From the library of Prof. Ann E. Berthoff, her marks and one note in very light pencil observed on approximately six pages and the rear flap of the DJ, and a few page reference notes related to Kleist in ink on the book's last page after the index.
