Ronald Charles Colman (1891-1958) was a British actor whose career spanned theatre, silent film and the Golden Age of film. He became a star of the silent cinema in such films as The Dark Angel (1925), The Winning of Barbara Worth (1926), The Night of Love (1927), The Magic Flame (1927), and Two Lovers (1928). As one of the great stars of Hollywood, he played leading roles in many films including Lost Horizon (1937), The Talk of the Town (1942), Random Harvest (1942) and Around the World in 80 Days (1956). He won several awards including an Oscar for The Talk of the Town.
