Blue cloth bindings with "The [Dickens's signature] Edition" in gilt on front board, gilt titling on spine. Full page illustrated plates by Cruikshank, Leech, Phiz, and others (16 in the Christmas Books/Boz vol., 10 in three others, eight in the rest). All volumes in good condition. A few partial separations/gaps between signature, but bindings on the whole are firm and fully intact; gilt titling/decoration remains bright and bold; light to moderate amount of wear to edges of boards, some fraying of cloth at spine ends; very faint dust smudging to cloth, some very minor toning to spines.
