This 1896 brown cloth hardcover is unmarked inside and has a good binding. The cover is worn around the edges and bumped at the corners. The cover is also somewhat scuffed and has three 3 inch scratches on the back cover. The spine is somewhat darkened although the gilt lettering is still quite legible. There is a nickel-sized black stain on the front cover. The owner's name is inside the front cover.
