Nicely bound in full darker tan calf. Spine with five raised gilt-ruled bands and gilt-boxed maroon title / author label. Single gilt fillet border to both boards with further triple fillet gilt-boxed panel with elaborate cornices. Engraving to title page verso plus a number of further full-page engravings.
CONDITION
In overall good condition with binding holding firm. Some signs of early-stage cracking to upper hinges, and a slight crease along spine length. Boards have a few minor scuffs, partial ring stain mark to front, light surface scratches, with moderate bumping to corners.
