Description:
Sacramento, California: California Tomorrow, 1963. Softcover. Near Fine. First edition. Octavo. 66 [2] pp. Groovy black and white cityscapes by Osborn/Wood, who also designed the pamphlet. Stapled printed wrappers. Ownership signature of noted American psychologist and anthropologist Henry Guze, (a founder of the American Academy of Psychotherapists, the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnosis, and co-founder of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sex) on the cover. Cover a bit toned and with a faint stain at the crown, otherwise near fine. Phantom cities include: the unincorporated city, the special-interest city, the contract city, the seasonal city, the legitimate city, and the regional city. An interesting document from a time of major growth in California.
