Octavo (20 x 14cm), pp.[vi] 316. Publisher's orange cloth blocked in black, 'Doubleday Doran' imprint on spine, top edge dark blue, pictorial endpapers, illustrated dust-jacket. Text block a little toned, a few minor marks within, cloth a little soiled/handled, slightly short jacket with a few minor chips and some rubbing to folds. An unusual edition- possibly a marriage, although the jacket appears to have been with the book for some time. A cancel title page is not recorded by McIlvaine.

No inscriptions, contents clean, edges toned, some splashes to covers, spine sunned. Jacket is priced 5s. net and dates from 1949/50 (The Mating Season & Nothing Serious are the most recent titles listed). Jacket shows well, with shallow loss to crown.
