Features text and book design by Merle Armitage. A collection of 28 black and white images. Laid in errata slip. A very good plus copy with bumping to the top of the spine and a few small spots to the foredge in a very good plus dust jacket that is lightly soiled, with a few edge tears and wear and some slight offsetting to the verso from an old jacket protector. Signed by Weston and dated in 1980. A very nice copy and much less common signed by Weston.

Aside from a small smudge on the fore edge, this is a very good copy in dust jacket that has slight wear at the edges and spine ends. Additionally, this copy is INSCRIBED by Merle Armitage, "To Arthur Rothstein, fine gentleman, expert photographer, great influence in the world of photography - Merle, Christmas, 1956." The first full monograph on the photographer.
