Hardcover, pale blue paper covered boards with paper label on front, cloth on spine. Exterior shows quite a bit of soiling and edge bumps, as well as the corners. Interior binding is good, no hinge cracks. Pages are toned due to age and front and rear pastedowns have residue from something taped. Front end page has a gift inscription. Illustrated with two tipped in plates, both of which have been verified as being present and attached. Stated second edition on the title page.
