Penguin. Two volume box set of Tolstoy's classic tale. Translated from the Russian by Rosemary Edmonds. TV set with images from the 1972 BBC TV series to both the box and the books including Morag Hood as Natasha, Alan Dobie as Andrei, Anthony Hopkins as Pierre. Both books are lightly rubbed. Volume one has faint marks visible only at certain angles, both books and box are otherwise very clean. Spines are uncreased. Box is rubbed to all edges but strong and sound. Closed tear to the colour illustrated paper to one side (the one showing Alan Dobie as Andrei Bolkonsky). Good+ set in like slipcase . Paperback. 1972.
